At 4:00pm on May 8, 2026, our Airline Branch located at 7807 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003 will permanently close. All deposit and loan accounts currently maintained at this branch will be transferred to our newly renovated David Drive branch at 7124 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70003. Your deposit and loan accounts will be transferred automatically to the branch. No action by you will be necessary.
Please note that safe deposit boxes will not be automatically transferred to the David Drive location. You will need to remove the contents of your safe deposit box and close your box prior to May 8, 2026. Customers may choose to open a new safe deposit box at another Metairie Bank branch, subject to availability. To assist with this transition, customers who open a safe deposit box at another location will receive one year of free rent. Any unused safe deposit box rent will be refunded at the time your box is closed.
If the contents of your safe deposit box are not removed and the box is not closed prior to May 8, 2026, the Bank will remove the contents and house them at the Main Office. A fee will be assessed to recover these contents.
