POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for processing, administration, and closing of residential mortgage loans through activities such as processing loan documentation, verifying the accuracy of loan files, setting up new accounts, and maintaining loan records and files. May enter loan data into computer systems.

Essential Job Functions 

  • Handle all aspects of document preparation for all residential mortgage loans from disclosure through post-closing.
  • Meet with originators and review progress of pending transactions.
  • Engages with the title companies and acquires the title insurance policy.
  • Alerts originator of missing records, documents, and irregularities in the mortgage application process.
  • Maintain knowledge of bank loan systems such as LaserPro, MortgageBotLOS, Calyx and UWM.
  • Responsible for answering telephones and ordering supplies.

education and experience 

  • Three years of banking/mortgage/home equity lending experience preferred.
  • Current knowledge of lending guideline and compliance requirements preferred.
  • Understanding of mortgage industry regulatory guidelines.
  • LaserPro, MortgageBotLOS, and Calyx experience preferred.
