Through Metairie Bank’s Sponsorship & Donations Program, the bank provides financial assistance and in-kind donations to many worthy causes and organizations throughout the area. As a leading community bank, we believe in a shared vision – to help strengthen our communities and make them better places to live.
Who’s Eligible?
We contribute to Louisiana-based nonprofit organizations that serve needs and benefit the people living within MBT service area. We donate to charitable non-profit organizations only, not individuals. Organizations must have 501(c3), 501(c4) or 501(c19) letters from the IRS. We will give special consideration to programs that serve the needs of low and moderate-income individuals.
Generally, organizations and activities meeting the established criteria will fall into one of the following categories:
- Education and Youth Programs
- Family and Community Welfare
- Civic Projects
- Healthcare and Human Services
- Performing Arts and Cultural Activities
- Recreation and Preservation Programs
