Dear Metairie Bank Customer and Paycheck Protection Program Borrower:

On February 5, we began processing Round 1 PPP Forgiveness requests.  To date, we have successfully processed over 50% of our Round 1 requests.  Our process is user friendly and of course, our bankers are standing by ready to assist with questions.  For additional convenience, we have put together FAQ’s on the bank’s webpage.  Please take a few minutes to review as this will assist you in completing your application faster and with greater accuracy. Before you begin your Forgiveness Application, there are some important facts you should know.

  • All applications will be submitted via a secure portal found on the Metairie Bank website.
  • For loans of $150,000 or less, you will not need to provide any supporting documentation. (review the FAQ’s to determine your requirements and proper application)
  • Upon receipt and favorable review of your application we will then submit to the SBA for final approval.  The SBA has up to 90 days to render a decision.
  • Following the approval by the SBA, your banking officer will contact you with the next steps.
